The Akron, Ohio Mark Heffernan Div. 2 Ancient Order of Hibernians are working for the cause. Our President , Mike McKenzie (above with the Bodách Glás (grey ghost) -me) is to present to our 200 member group, a plan for action Sept 4. I am pictured at the Dublin Ohio Irish fest , with our Wolfhound Barrett, many asked what the shirt was about, and many came away with offers to help, we also were involved with shirts at our hurling club demonstration area, The Akron Celtic Guards Hurling club My blood is from West Cork...NEVER GIVE UP !!!
Let the Ohio delgation to Congress know that Irish America is watching this issue and will voice their displeasure at the polls if nothing is done to get the undocumented Irish on the path to EARNED legal status.
