McCain makes a stand

After a period of relative silence from Senator McCain on immigration, the presidential candidate and long time ILIR supporter, made his position clear during a speech in California today. Read the full story from the AP here.

this editorial and remind yourself that the nay-sayers are in the minority and that, as last weeks NY Times/CBS poll found, 75% of respondents supported a path to legalization.

Absolutely ridiculous. Legalize the Irish...and the terrorists, blacks, Mexicans etc...too! You let one group of immigrants in, you have to let them all in. Go back home and do it the legal way, like my parents and so many before. How dare you come to another country and demand change...go demand change in your own country and leave us alone, we don't want you here if you can't do things the legal way. Have respect for the laws of this great nation.
