Bush: 'I'm not giving up on immigration bill'

President Bush is not giving up on his plan to legalize millions of unlawful immigrants and is aiming to convince GOP senators to bring the bill back. Today, Sunday,Tony Snow, White House spokesman, and Commerce Secretary Carlos Gutierrez both predicted an immigration bill would pass once Bush meets with lawmakers this week and Congress reconsidered the measure.Full Story

The immigrataion bill was very badly handled last week and I strongly believe that the bill can come back to the floor for a vote in our favor especially now that Bush is getting involved.

We also need a better communications campaign outlining the many positive outcomes for America, if we do get legalised. This would help to assuage the American public's fears about it and improve their knowledge on this topic leading to a bigger picture mentality.
